In the final seconds, Whitcomb attempted another three-pointer but missed, sealing the Aces’ victory.

The Mercury had strong performances as well, with Alyssa Thomas leading her team with 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 8 assists. Other notable performances included Copper and Whitcomb, each contributing 15 and 14 points, respectively, while added 10 points.
