Ashley Furniture Opens Largest Store in North America

News Summary

Ashley Furniture has launched its largest store in North America, covering 88,000 square feet in Las Vegas. The grand opening on June 14-15 features workshops, prizes, and exclusive offers. This new store aims to enhance community engagement while offering an extensive product lineup, highlighting Ashley’s commitment to both business and local involvement.

Las Vegas – Ashley Furniture has officially opened the doors to North America’s largest furniture store in Las Vegas, marking a significant milestone for the company and the community. Located at 6555 S. Riley St., near Sunset Road and Durango Drive, the new store features an impressive 88,000-square-foot two-story showroom, alongside a 218,000-square-foot warehouse spread over two levels. This grand opening event is set to take place on the weekend of June 14 and 15, 2023, signaling a fresh bidding war among furniture retailers in the area.

Ashley Furniture’s new location is a result of a strategic investment made in 2020 when the company purchased a 20-acre site for approximately $27 million. The development received approval from Clark County for both a showroom and distribution center, with a commercial building permit valued at $19.6 million issued in the summer of 2023. Having opened for business earlier in June, the store offers customers access to Ashley’s most extensive product lineup to date.

The grand opening celebration is packed with various activities designed to engage the community. Guests can participate in curated home workshops, enjoy hourly prize giveaways, and take advantage of exclusive offers throughout the weekend. The first 50 guests each day will receive special gifts, while attendees also have the opportunity to win a grand prize of a $2,500 Ashley credit and an “ultimate Las Vegas staycation.” The store will operate from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, and 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday.

In a continued commitment to community engagement, Ashley Furniture plans to donate furniture to Family Promise of Las Vegas for their new Family Navigation Center, which provides essential services to families facing housing instability. This initiative highlights Ashley’s dedication not just to selling furniture but also to fostering connections within the local community.

Ashley Furniture’s new location is designed to be more than just a retail space; it aims to serve as a destination for inspiration that allows customers to explore, discover, and create stylish living spaces while offering great value. The retail experience in Las Vegas is expected to significantly enhance as customers engage with the new offerings, in turn deepening their connection with the brand.

This large-scale opening reflects Ashley’s ambition to cement its presence in the competitive furniture market and provide excellent products and services to the Las Vegas community. As the largest store in North America, it represents not just an expansion of Ashley Furniture’s retail footprint, but a renewed focus on community involvement and customer experience in the heart of the desert.
