A new Business District focused on operational solutions for beauty professionals, further enhancing the conference’s educational offerings.

Las Vegas – The 2025 International Beauty Show (IBS Las Vegas) and the International Esthetics, Cosmetics, & Spa Conference (IECSC Las Vegas) returned to the Las Vegas Convention Center’s West Hall from June 21-23, 2025, attracting beauty professionals and industry leaders from around the globe. Notable figures, including Tan France, a renowned entrepreneur and television personality, shared valuable insights on beauty and spa trends during this landmark event.

Tan France delivered a keynote address titled “Elevating Your Craft: The Secret to Branding & Bold Entrepreneurship” on Saturday. His presentation focused on the importance of adaptability in business and the need for professionals in the beauty industry to pivot strategies proactively to stay relevant in a competitive market. This advice resonated with attendees looking to enhance their business acumen and brand strength.

In addition to France, other prominent industry figures such as stylists Ted Gibson and Jason Backe hosted master classes that included engaging sessions like “The Tea Talk” and “Color the Cut with Ted and Jason.” These sessions provided attendees with hands-on learning experiences about cutting-edge techniques and trends in hair styling.

The conference also featured Savanna Boda, who led educational sessions on “Acne Skills” and “Creating a Brand that Lasts,” emphasizing practical skills for beauty professionals to thrive in their fields. Exhibitors showcased over 300 premium brands, including Wahl Clipper, DNA Hair Tools, Lashbox LA, and Eminence Organic Skin Care, providing attendees the opportunity to explore the latest innovations in beauty and spa products.

Among the highlights of the event was the debut of the Live Fashion Hair Awards on Sunday, which celebrated excellence in hair artistry. Attendees were granted access to over 200 complimentary beauty and spa classes simply by holding an Exhibit Hall pass, allowing them to participate in product-focused demonstrations and networking opportunities throughout the weekend.

A new addition this year was the Business District, which focused on salon and spa operational solutions, addressing the unique challenges faced by beauty professionals today. The “What’s New For You Zone” showcased cutting-edge products, while the “Say Yes to You Hub” provided free professional headshots to attendees, making the event a comprehensive platform for education and networking.

Tan France’s background includes a childhood spent in a Pakistani Muslim family in Doncaster, UK, where entrepreneurship was a necessity. He learned early on about business by reselling items to classmates and honing his sewing skills to create clothing. France’s journey led him to establish a fashion brand, Kingdom & State, catering to a niche market of LDS women seeking stylish yet modest attire. Initially, he chose to conceal his identity, believing consumers would prefer the perception of a “Mormon” owner.

Despite facing setbacks and significant failures, France emphasized viewing these challenges as learning moments or opportunities for pivoting. His candid sharing of these struggles through social media has helped cultivate a loyal following that supports his ventures. Furthermore, he highlighted the importance of unique selling propositions and suggested hiring employees based on personal compatibility rather than purely on experience. France also advised maintaining professionalism by refraining from developing personal friendships with employees in supervisory roles.

The event aimed to educate beauty professionals and foster networking opportunities within the industry, fulfilling its objective of enhancing knowledge and connections among attendees. Show hours for the conference spanned from June 21-23, 2025, with hours set for Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm and Monday from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm.
