Created with contributions from sound designer and construction consultant Jason Pritchard, “Hope Road” features an elaborate sound system distributed across five interconnected rooms. The production employs six different sound systems, overcoming the venue’s structural limitations to create an immersive auditory experience. The Meyer Sound system utilized in the show includes 29 Ultra-X23 compact point source loudspeakers, alongside additional models such as Ultra-X40 and Ultra-X20 loudspeakers, as well as compact subwoofers, ensuring a rich soundscape.
To effectively manage the dynamic audio environment, an Allen & Heath D-Live console is in place, allowing for high-quality live microphone management with the capabilities of five front-of-house positions and iPad controls. The sound design specifically emphasizes low frequencies, which are foundational to reggae music. Additional low frequency elements include 5 2100-LFC and 15 900-LFC components, providing depth to the auditory experience.

The tribute show also features exclusive pre-show DJ sets by Shacia Päyne Marley and Zuri Marley, who are Bob Marley’s granddaughters. Shacia is the daughter of Stephen Marley, while Zuri is the daughter of Ziggy Marley. These performances add a personal touch to the event, enhancing its connection to the Marley family legacy.
