Born on May 21, 1957, in Erie, Pennsylvania, Weber was the son of the late Gilbert J. and Dorothy (Hoehn) Weber. He graduated from Girard High School in 1976 and later earned an associate’s degree in drafting from Triangle Tech. Weber dedicated over 45 years of his career working in multiple positions at Copes Vulcan/SPX.

Weber was widely known for his kindness and hard work, often willing to lend a helping hand to others. He demonstrated extraordinary perseverance and courage while facing his lengthy illness, earning him the admiration of family and friends alike. His wife, Theresa Weber, described him as a “true warrior” for the way he battled cancer for over twenty years without complain.

Daniel and Theresa were married for 26 years, having spent a total of 31 years together. Throughout their time together, they created many cherished memories, including expanding and redesigning their home, where they raised their family. A skilled carpenter, Weber worked on various projects, including building a log cabin with his brothers and constructing the two-story home they shared.

In addition to his craftsmanship, Weber had a passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with his brothers and nephews. He had a great appreciation for music from the 1960s and 70s, notably enjoying the band Pink Floyd and attending numerous rock concerts. Together with Theresa, he traveled to various places including the Smoky Mountains, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Florida, and the Poconos. Their outings often involved day trips for wine tastings, hiking, visiting waterfalls, attending plays, and dining out.

Weber is survived by his wife, Theresa; his children, Katie Perry of Erie and Cameron Weber of Lake City; a brother, John “Jack” Weber; and five sisters: Carol DiMarco, Jean Lynch, Marilyn Meade, Patricia Weber, and Theresa Zimmerman. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Char Weber, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers: Robert, James, and Anthony Weber, and a sister, Shirley Weber.
