The show aims to provide a unique setting for celebrations and features performances like soap bubble artistry and mechanical theater. With a focus on quality dining and entertainment, The Party seeks to become a standout experience in the city’s vibrant culinary landscape.
Las Vegas is getting ready to welcome an extravagant new dinner show that combines culinary delights with mesmerizing circus performances. The Party is set to debut at the Cosmopolitan on Thursday, July 10, promising a unique experience that caters to celebrations of all kinds, including birthdays, weddings, and even divorces.
This innovative event will be held in an intimate setting, limited to just 50 guests per night. It features a three-course prix fixe menu crafted by chef Mitch Emge, which guests will enjoy while being entertained by interstitial circus acts throughout the evening. The dining experience is provided by the nearby Superfrico restaurant, adding a notable culinary dimension to the show.
The Party spans from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, with only one seating each night. Ticket prices are set at $150 per person, and reservations can be made online through the Spiegelworld website. The space hosting the event, referred to as the Blue Room, has been specially designed with circus-themed decor, enhancing the overall ambiance of the evening.
The Party will showcase a variety of classic circus acts, including a standout soap bubble performance by Denis Lock, known for his intricate designs made utilizing smoke and straws. Additionally, the audience will be treated to the return of the Circus Automaton, an enchanting mechanical theater piece that adds a whimsical touch to the program.
This unique concept is the brainchild of Spiegelworld, the acclaimed creators of the popular shows Absinthe and Diner. The founder, Ross Mollison, had initially held reservations about the viability of dinner theater in Las Vegas, based on previous experiences in Germany where lengthy dinner-and-a-show formats struggled to gain interest. However, after acquiring a venue near Superfrico, Mollison decided to embrace the idea, reconsidering its potential in the vibrant Las Vegas entertainment landscape.
Guests attending The Party can expect an elegant dining experience featuring a carefully curated menu. Appetizers will include options like tuna tartare or salad with Calabrian ranch dressing. For the main course, choices include seared mushroom gnocchi with black truffle or a six-ounce prime filet accompanied by roasted bone marrow sauce. To finish off the meal, dessert options consist of tiramisu or rice pudding combined with blueberry compote and lemon curd.
The Party offers a format that aligns with existing supper clubs in Las Vegas, such as Delilah and Mayfair Supper Club, while still differentiating itself through its unique circus-themed entertainment. The experience is designed with a defined call time, ensuring that both the quality of food and performance meets high standards.
This new dinner show takes place in a space formerly used for the OPM variety show. Mollison noted that the previous show did not align well with the lively atmosphere of Superfrico, making way for a more refined dining and entertainment venue. While Mollison is enthusiastic about the launch, he remains cautiously optimistic given the current challenges affecting tourism in Las Vegas, particularly in light of the ongoing recovery from recent global events.
The Party aims to create an unforgettable blend of gastronomy and high-caliber entertainment, promising to deliver a “whole world of interesting adventures” within the heart of Las Vegas. With its captivating acts and exquisite menu, it seeks to establish itself as a standout experience for both locals and visitors to the city.
