The Fremont Street Experience has announced an expanded lineup for its Downtown Rocks Free Concert Series set to take place in the summer of 2025. The new additions to the lineup were revealed on Thursday, bringing an exciting array of artists to entertain both locals and visitors.
Among the newly announced headliners are ROME, formerly of Sublime with Rome, Gym Class Heroes, AWOLNATION, Parmalee, and Julian Marley & The Wailers. These acts will join previously announced performers that include Robin Thicke, Jet, Cracker, Craig Morgan, and Candlebox.
The concert series is set to kick off on Memorial Day Weekend, starting with initial performances on Saturday, May 24. The first act to take the stage will be Hinder, followed by a lineup that includes Drowning Pool, Saliva, Alien Ant Farm, and Jet on May 25. Concert activities will continue throughout the summer and extend into October.
This year, the concert series will introduce a special visual art component featuring the work of local artist Gear Duran. Duran’s artwork will be unveiled on May 23 and displayed across downtown Las Vegas, enhancing the overall atmosphere of the event.
The Downtown Rocks concert series promises a diverse range of musical genres, including rock, country, pop, and R&B. This varied lineup aims to attract a wide audience, catering to the musical tastes of both residents and tourists.
For those seeking a premium experience, VIP areas will be available for guests from participating member casinos. In an effort to maintain safety measures, the Fremont Street Experience will implement strict security protocols. These include metal detectors and restrictions on large bags and coolers, ensuring a secure environment for concertgoers.
With the influx of concert attendees, increased parking rates are anticipated on concert nights, with some casino garages potentially charging up to $50. Visitors are advised to plan accordingly and consider alternate transportation options to avoid high parking fees.
