Las Vegas – Grocery Outlet will celebrate the grand openings of two new locations in the Las Vegas Valley on May 29. The stores, situated at 45 N. Nellis Blvd. and 1435 W. Craig Road, expand Grocery Outlet’s presence to five locations in the area. The grand opening festivities will commence at 8 a.m. at both stores and feature special promotions and charitable donations.

To generate excitement, the first 100 customers at each location will receive a mystery gift card valued between $5 and $500. Additionally, shoppers will be given a complimentary reusable bag while supplies last throughout the opening week. From May 29 through June 27, customers will have the chance to enter a drawing for $1,000 in free groceries, further adding to the celebratory atmosphere.

The Nellis Blvd. location will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. on opening day. The store’s independent owners, John and Tenley McBride, will mark the occasion by donating $1,000 to the Salvation Army of Southern Nevada and an additional $1,000 to Three Square, a local food bank focused on alleviating hunger in Southern Nevada.

Meanwhile, the Craig Road location will also have a ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon. Owners Francisco Cardenas and Elizabeth Carillo will demonstrate their commitment to community support by donating $500 each to Project 150 and The Just One Project. They will also contribute $1,000 to the Salvation Army of Southern Nevada during the opening ceremony.

The addition of these two locations comes shortly after Grocery Outlet launched its third store on May 1 at 9320 S. Eastern Ave. The growing number of Grocery Outlet stores aims to provide residents relief from rising grocery prices, an issue that has affected many in the area. With the continued expansion, Grocery Outlet seeks to enhance access to affordable groceries for families in the Las Vegas Valley.

Grocery Outlet, known for its discount grocery offerings, has carved out a niche by providing quality products at lower prices compared to conventional grocery retailers. The new locations in Las Vegas hope to replicate this success while community engagement remains a key focus for the independent owners.

Las Vegas residents looking for budget-friendly shopping options can look forward to visiting the new Grocery Outlet stores, as they promise a vibrant shopping experience filled with deals and community spirit. The grand openings are set to provide not only savings but also valuable contributions to local charities, showcasing Grocery Outlet’s ongoing commitment to supporting the neighborhoods it serves.
