The much-anticipated Helldorado Days Parade is set to return on Saturday, May 10, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. This historic parade, which first began in 1935 and is considered the longest-running event in Las Vegas, takes place along Fourth Street, stretching from Gass to Stewart avenues. With approximately 135 entries expected, attendees can enjoy a vibrant display of floats and performances while basking in the warm weather.
Shade will be available at the grandstands located on Bridger Avenue, ensuring a comfortable viewing experience. The parade will also feature a selection of food trucks and giveaways, enhancing the festive atmosphere.
On the same day, Rainbow Family Park will host a free local art and artists showcase from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event aims to spotlight the talent of local artists, providing them with a platform to display their work and engage with the community.
The Art Festival of Henderson will also take place from May 10 to 11, running from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Water Street Plaza.
