The iconic Exosphere at Sphere will also participate in the celebrations, showcasing features that enhance the holiday experience.

Las Vegas is gearing up for a stunning array of Fourth of July celebrations in 2024, featuring multiple fireworks displays across the city and surrounding areas while emphasizing the importance of firework safety. The festivities commence at 9 p.m. on July 4, with notable events planned by several prominent venues.

Caesars Palace will kick off their fireworks display at 9 p.m., accompanied by a viewing party at the Garden of the Gods Pool, where admission costs $150 per person. The Durango Casino & Resort will also feature its fireworks show starting at 9 p.m., with doors opening at 7 p.m. Tickets are priced at $10 for children and $35 for guests aged 12 and older. Green Valley Ranch Resort Spa & Casino will host a similar display at 9 p.m. as well, with comparable ticket prices and complimentary light-up necklaces available while supplies last.

The M Resort Spa Casino will hold a “Red, White & Boots” party starting at 5 p.m., complete with live music leading up to the fireworks, which will also take place at 9 p.m. Admission is set at $35 for adults and $15 for children under 10. The Plaza Hotel & Casino is set to begin its Independence Day festivities at 7 p.m., featuring fireworks at 9:15 p.m. with free admission to the pool area. Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa will be joining in the celebrations with a fireworks display at 9 p.m., providing complimentary popsicles, glow sticks, and festive flags for attendees.

The Las Vegas Valley will see additional fireworks display options at several off-Strip locations, including Lake Las Vegas and Henderson, all scheduled for 9 p.m. Numerous community events and parades, such as the 31st Annual Summerlin Council Patriotic Parade and Boulder City Damboree, will further contribute to the festive atmosphere.

In the spirit of celebration, local officials remain vigilant about firework safety. Clark County Fire Chief Thomas Touchstone has issued warnings regarding the dangers of illegal fireworks, citing incidents of property damage linked to such activities. Similar sentiments were echoed by Metropolitan Police Department undersheriff Andrew Walsh, who noted that possession of illegal fireworks could lead to fines beginning at $500 and additional consequences for public safety disturbances. Local authorities will increase police presence in high-traffic areas to ensure compliance with fireworks laws during the holiday.

Clark County Commissioner Marilyn Kirkpatrick and Las Vegas Mayor Shelley Berkley have stressed the importance of watching legal fireworks displays instead of using illegal fireworks at home. To aid in safety, members of the public can report illegal fireworks via ispyfireworks.com to prevent overwhelming emergency phone lines.

The Exosphere at Sphere will shine with an American flag as part of its Fourth of July celebration, marking the anniversary of its first illumination. The Sphere, a 17,600-seat, 366-foot-tall and 516-foot-wide music and entertainment venue, is noted as the largest spherical structure on Earth. Additionally, Sphere’s new XO Stream feature will launch, offering an official livestream of content on the Exosphere alongside the XO Audio feature that delivers custom audio synced to the visual display.

Las Vegas has a long-standing tradition of Fourth of July fireworks that dates back to the 1970s, with displays becoming increasingly lavish over the years. Major resorts often host extensive celebrations, elevating the holiday experience for both residents and visitors. As the Fourth of July approaches, residents and tourists alike can look forward to a memorable display of patriotism and community spirit, while remaining mindful of safety and legal regulations regarding fireworks use.
