Graduates aged 21 and over can enjoy a complimentary house tequila shot with any purchase, provided they present valid proof of graduation for the year 2025. The promotion runs from Friday, May 16, through Saturday, May 31, giving graduates the perfect chance to celebrate their achievements.

As part of the vibrant Las Vegas dining scene, Lucia offers an innovative menu that features a unique twist on traditional Mexican flavors, crafted by Executive Chef Noe Alcala. Graduates can indulge in a variety of dishes that showcase the rich culinary heritage while enjoying a festive atmosphere. The restaurant operates on the following hours:

  • Sunday: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Monday to Thursday: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Friday: 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The promotion comes at a time when Las Vegas is celebrating other recent educational achievements as well, including a graduation ceremony for 37 new officers who joined the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD). This diverse class of recruits includes 34 men and 3 women from 10 different states and five countries, bringing various languages such as Spanish, Russian, and Haitian Creole to the force. Their ages range from 22 to 50, with several recruits possessing prior law enforcement or military backgrounds, as well as academic credentials, with eight holding bachelor’s degrees.

The LVMPD has emphasized its commitment to diversity within the police force; most of the new officers identify as Hispanic, Black, Asian, Pacific Islander, or bi-racial. Ongoing recruitment efforts are in place for additional recruits, furthering the department’s dedication to representing the community it serves.
