Universal Horror Unleashed is set to open its doors in Las Vegas, offering an immersive horror experience based on The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. This attraction will bring guests through various chilling settings, including a Texan cemetery and Leatherface’s decaying homestead. In addition, the attraction features the Kill Vault area, where guests can interact with chilling characters and enjoy chainsaw-carved small plates. Tickets are already on sale, with multiple haunted houses themed around horror classics, promising to make it a top destination for horror enthusiasts.
Las Vegas will soon become the home of a new and immersive horror experience, Universal Horror Unleashed, set to open on August 14, 2025. Featuring a haunted house based on the infamous 1974 horror classic, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, this attraction will transport guests into the disturbing world of Leatherface and his family.
The haunted house will meticulously recreate scenes from the original film, allowing guests to experience the story in a linear sequence, “beat-for-beat,” as they venture through various chilling settings. The journey begins in a Texan cemetery, where guests will first encounter the eerie atmosphere that sets the tone for what lies ahead.
After the cemetery, visitors will find themselves at an old, dusty gas station, where the tension continues to build. The final destination within the haunted house is the decaying homestead of Leatherface and his family, where guests will be in active peril, pursued by the iconic killer throughout the attraction.
In addition to the main haunt, the attraction will include an area known as the Kill Vault. This immersive section will feature chilling characters attempting to entice guests, providing a deeply engaging experience. A unique area within the Kill Vault, titled Rough Cuts, will serve chainsaw-carved small plates, allowing guests to enjoy refreshments while witnessing live show moments that enhance the overall thrill.
Throughout this exhilarating experience, Universal Horror Unleashed aims to offer heightened guest interaction with characters, an extensive narrative, and numerous themed areas filled with electrifying performances. Merchandise will also be available at a dedicated retail location for fans looking to take home a piece of the horror.
In addition to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre attraction, Universal Horror Unleashed will present three other haunted houses: Scarecrow: The Reaping, Universal Monsters, and The Exorcist: Believer. Collectively, these experiences promise to provide a variety of horrifying themes appealing to different tastes within the horror genre.
Tickets for Universal Horror Unleashed have already gone on sale at AREA15, with pricing ranging from $69 to $149, depending on the selected date.
