With the pool season in full swing, both hotel guests and the general public have numerous options for enjoying the sunny weather while taking a refreshing dip.

Many Las Vegas resorts have opened their pool facilities to Southern Nevadans, although access policies vary. While some swimming areas are exclusive to hotel guests, others allow locals entry, often accompanied by a small admission fee. Most of these pools also provide amenities like chair, daybed, and cabana rentals, creating an enjoyable experience for visitors.

Station Casinos Properties

At Station Casinos properties, several pools are available for local residents. The Bel-Aire Back Yard at Durango is open from 10 a.m. to sunset. Green Valley Ranch welcomes guests from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., while The Pond, restricted to guests aged 21 and older, operates Fridays through Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Red Rock Resort and Rouge Room pools (also for adults 21+) open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 11 a.m. to sunset, respectively, on weekends. Palace Station and Sunset Station pools have similar hours, operating from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. until September 29. Reservations are required for these pools.

Boyd Gaming Properties

At the Orleans, the Splash Pool is open to the public with a $50 admission fee, while locals can enjoy free daybeds or cabanas. The pool operates from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. through August 31, transitioning to 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. starting September 1. The Aliante pool is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. until mid-October, offering day passes for adults at $20 and children aged 4-15 at varying rates during the week and higher prices on weekends.

MGM Resorts International Properties

At MGM Resorts, several options are available as well. Bellagio boasts five pools and four whirlpools, including the 18+ Cypress Pool, with hours from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Subject to change, Aria has Yucca Pool, Palm Pool, and Sky Pool open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., along with the LIQUID Pool Lounge for adults from Wednesday to Sunday. The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas features the Boulevard Pool from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the Marquee Dayclub for those aged 21 and older, operating Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to close. MGM Grand and Mandalay Bay, which hosts a giant wave pool, are open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Caesars Entertainment Properties

Caesars Entertainment pools typically cater to both hotel guests and non-guests of all ages. The Garden of the Gods at Caesars Palace operates from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Influence Pool at The Linq Hotel is accessible for adults aged 21 and older. Additionally, the Flamingo offers a 21+ Go Pool from Monday to Thursday and a family-friendly pool, both open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Other Notable Locations

The Wynn Las Vegas mainly keeps its pools exclusive to hotel guests, with the Encore Beach Club open to those aged 21 and older. The Palms Hotel offers free admission to locals over 21, along with cabanas based on availability. Lastly, the JW Marriott Las Vegas has a pool open for local guests from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., subject to a daily admission fee, with varying cabana rates.
