However, the original Farm Basket restaurant, established in 1973 on Charleston Avenue, continues to serve loyal customers with its remaining two locations still in business.
Cathedrale, renowned for its lavish atmosphere and upscale menu options like black truffle fettuccine and 48-ounce tomahawk steaks, is scheduled to close its doors at Aria on May 31, 2025. This restaurant was part of the Tao Hospitality Group and had attracted diners seeking a luxurious culinary experience.
Another significant closure occurred on May 15, 2025, as Bahama Breeze at Hughes Center shut down following a nationwide decision by the parent company to close 15 locations across the United States. This Caribbean-themed restaurant had delighted patrons with its vibrant dishes for over 20 years.
On April 26, 2025, the arrest of Evan Glusman, accused of making threats related to a shooting at Piero’s Italian Cuisine, resulted in the abrupt closure of two restaurants: Bramáre and Table 34. Although the specific reasons behind these restaurant closures were not detailed, the situation was attributed to “various factors.” Glusman’s arrest stemmed from allegations of fraud against his father, the proprietor of Piero’s, regarding a $1.5 million unauthorized loan.
