Families gathering for fun events in North Las Vegas
North Las Vegas will host a variety of affordable events this weekend, offering families numerous entertainment options. Activities include outdoor movie nights, live performances, and community fairs. Highlights are the Dive-In Movie Night at Silver Mesa Activity Pool, an Outdoor Music and Movie Event at Craig Ranch Regional Park, a Family Event at City Hall Liberty Park, and various performing arts shows, all aimed at providing enjoyable experiences without breaking the bank.
North Las Vegas is set to host a variety of inexpensive events this weekend from July 25 to 27, offering families and individuals numerous opportunities for fun and entertainment. These activities include outdoor movie nights, live performances, and community fairs, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy.
The weekend kicks off with a Dive-In Movie Night at Silver Mesa Activity Pool on Friday, July 25. Guests can watch the animated film Finding Dory starting at 7:30 p.m. Admission is just $2 per person, and concessions will be available for purchase.
On Saturday, July 26, Craig Ranch Regional Park will host an Outdoor Music and Movie Event. Activities begin at 6:30 p.m., featuring live music, food trucks, and local vendors. The movie Snow White (2025) will be shown at around 8:15 p.m., approximately 15 to 30 minutes after sunset. Concessions will be available at a cost of $3.
Also on Saturday, a Family Event will be held at City Hall Liberty Park from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. This free event includes a toy giveaway for children up to 13 years old, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the East Las Vegas Community Center will host a Community Supply Distribution and Resource Fair. This event is free for the first 1,000 participants, and students must be present to receive school supplies.
The Performing Arts Show at West Las Vegas Library Theatre will take place on Friday at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. Admission is free with first-come, first-served seating available.
A Broadway Tribute Show honoring female artists will be presented at Charleston Heights Arts Center at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 26. Tickets for the performance are priced at $10.
Families can participate in the Cardboard Boat Regatta at Henderson Multigenerational Activity Pool on Saturday at 4 p.m. A daily entry fee applies ($3 for kids aged 3-17 and seniors, and $5 for adults). Additionally, a Rubber Duck Raffle will take place at 5:15 p.m. with ducks available for $1 each.
For those looking for an interactive challenge, a Glow-in-the-Dark Nerf Battle will be held at Valley View Recreation Center, starting at 6 p.m. on Friday. Registration costs $15, and participants must bring a labeled Nerf gun and protective eyewear.
The Summer Music Series at Lee Canyon will take place on Saturday, with live music from 1 to 5 p.m. featuring the Roxy Gunn Project. Gates open at 9 a.m., and guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets for seating.
On Saturday at 7 p.m., the Winchester Dondero Cultural Center will host a performance by Jessica Manalo, with tickets available for $15 either online or at the door.
The Splash Bash Event at Craig Ranch Regional Park, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday, will be free of charge with no registration required, offering a great way to enjoy the summer heat.
Finally, Mountainside Yoga will take place at Lee Canyon’s Aspen Grove on Friday and Sunday, from 10 to 11 a.m. Participation costs $10 per person, and registration is required. Attendees should bring a yoga mat, water, a hat, and sunscreen.
