Las Vegas is set to welcome its inaugural Smarts’N Strides 5K Run and Walk on September 20, 2025, at Town Square. The festivities will start bright and early with event registration and a family resource fair commencing at 7 a.m.. An opening ceremony will take place at 7:45 a.m., followed by the official start of the run/walk at 8 a.m..
Participants will complete two laps around the Town Square, and are encouraged to engage in the event at their own pace, regardless of being runners, walkers, or dog owners. All finishers will be rewarded with a complimentary doughnut courtesy of Pinkbox Doughnuts.
Registration fees for the event are structured as follows: Team Captain Registration costs $25, participants aged 13 and older will pay $30, and children aged 12 and younger can join for $20. Notably, students from Shoes for Scholars’ participating schools will have the opportunity to register for free, reinforcing the nonprofit’s commitment to accessibility and support for students.
