Interior of the new Swig outlet in Las Vegas featuring unique beverage options.
Swig, a Utah-based soda chain famed for its ‘dirty soda’ creations, is opening its second location in Las Vegas this weekend. The new store at 7170 S. Rainbow Blvd. will operate daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Following the success of its first outlet, Swig aims to enhance its footprint in the city. Additionally, a drive-through location has been approved, solidifying its expansion efforts. Known for creative beverage customization, Swig is attracting patrons with seasonal drinks and a strong social media presence.
Las Vegas is set to welcome its second location of Swig, a popular Utah-based soda chain known for its unique “dirty soda” offerings. The new store is scheduled to open this weekend at 7170 S. Rainbow Blvd., Suite 100-C, and will operate seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Swig has gained national prominence largely due to its feature in Hulu’s reality series “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.” The brand’s distinctive beverages, which include customizable sodas topped with flavored syrups, creams, and fruit purees, have captured the interest of viewers and consumers alike. After the overwhelming response from the first Las Vegas location, which opened earlier this year at 1160 E. Silverado Ranch Blvd., Suite 100, the franchise is optimistic about establishing a strong presence in the Las Vegas market.
In addition to the upcoming location at Rainbow Blvd., Swig has received approval to construct a drive-through soda shop at 771 E. Horizon Drive, though an opening date for this site has yet to be announced. The company’s expansion plans include a third location under Smuin Investments LLC, which will also be situated in Las Vegas, although specific details regarding this site have not been disclosed.
Swig’s menu is designed to cater to a variety of tastes, offering a wide selection of beverages beyond just soda. Customers can enjoy water-based drinks known as Refreshers and energy drinks named Revivers. Each drink can be customized, allowing patrons to adjust flavors and ingredients according to their preferences. Seasonal menu items such as the Alpine Avalanche, Roasty Toasty, and Jolly Elf provide customers with unique tastes that change throughout the year. Furthermore, Swig consistently introduces Limited Time Offers that showcase new drinks and seasonal treats, keeping the menu fresh and appealing.
The beverage chain has cultivated a robust social media presence, which can be followed on Instagram under the handle @swigdrinks. This platform is utilized to connect with customers and share updates about new offerings, events, and promotions.
Swig’s innovative approach to beverage customization, combined with its popular image fueled by media attention, has made it a favored destination for soda enthusiasts. Gabrielle Smuin, a franchisee involved in the Las Vegas openings, has conveyed a sense of hope and enthusiasm about the brand’s potential in this vibrant entertainment city.
The opening this weekend promises to attract attention from both local residents and visitors interested in trying the latest trends in soda culture. With Swig’s commitment to providing outstanding drink experiences and expanding its footprint in the rapidly growing market of Las Vegas, the brand appears well-positioned for success.
