The UNLV Performing Arts Center (PAC) has announced an exciting lineup for its 2025-26 season, showcasing a wide array of performances that cater to diverse tastes. The season will kick off on October 4, 2025, featuring the premiere of Cirque Mechanics’ new production titled “Tilt!” at the Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall.
“Tilt!” has been hailed by Spectacle Magazine as “the greatest contribution to the American circus since Cirque du Soleil,” offering a whimsical experience set in a fantastical theme park. Following this spectacular opening, the season will bring several noteworthy musical performances, including the Vienna Boys Choir on November 26, 2025. This performance will feature a blend of Austrian folk songs, classical pieces, and beloved holiday carols.
In addition to the Vienna Boys Choir, the PAC will host renowned guitarist Ricardo Cobo on December 11, 2025, who will present his composition “Diary of Musical Images.” The Montreal Guitar Trio is scheduled for February 6, 2026, performing a tribute to celebrated composer Ennio Morricone.
Another highlight of the PAC’s season is the renowned guitar duo Sérgio and Odair Assad, who will perform on March 4, 2026. This marks what is anticipated to be their final tour, featuring a rich repertoire that includes folk, jazz, and classical influences.
The season will also present “The Mikado,” performed by the New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players on March 6, 2026, which has received praise as “a comic gem.” The season will conclude on March 30, 2026, with a performance by the New York Philharmonic String Quartet.
A special event, titled “An Intimate Evening with Jason Vieaux”, featuring the award-winning guitarist, will take place on October 22, 2025. This event promises to be a highlight for classical guitar enthusiasts.
For those interested in attending multiple performances, season ticket packages are available for purchase. Early buyers can enjoy significant savings when purchasing these packages by July 12, 2025. Individual tickets will go on sale starting September 6, 2025. Tickets can be purchased through the PAC’s website at pac.unlv.edu or in-person at the UNLV PAC box office.
The upcoming 2025-26 season marks a significant milestone for the PAC, as it celebrates 49 years since its establishment as a vital cultural center in Southern Nevada. The center has become a platform for artistic expression and has played a critical role in enriching the local community through the performing arts.
With its commitment to presenting diverse and high-quality performances, the UNLV Performing Arts Center continues to be a cornerstone of cultural engagement in Las Vegas. As the PAC gears up for the new season, the community looks forward to a showcase of talent that promises to entertain and inspire audiences of all ages.
